Go shawty it's your birthday

Ola my lovely ladies! 

Thought I'd share some photos from my night out yesterday. It was my friend Ashley's birthday so we went to a pole dancing class and then clubbing afterwards. Pole dancing was actually so fun and I got a few good photos but alas I have been banned from letting them grace the Internet! I won best technical dancer too so I was really pleased woohoo. 

Very fabulously I was given a bottle of Cava for winning so we planned to keep it classy and neck it back at my friend Roz's house before we went out. We didn't have time though so we'll be saving it for Halloween where we'll be dressing up as a human centipede.

If you ever go to Newcastle and don't really know the area then I'll quickly explain the dealio with the places we went so you can keep it in mind if you ever venture up!

If you are looking for cheap drinks and don't mind the place being a bit of a dive, then Gotham is not bad. Drinks are like £2.50 for trebles but it gets super busy and claustophobic if you go past 11pm, so we didn't stay there too long. We then went to Sinners (near the Gate) which plays dance and r'n'b music, that was also really cheap with Fosters £1 and skittles £1.50. We usually always go someone a bit naff first just to get a bit merry before the extortionate club prices begin (stingy students ftw). The review of Sinners on that linked website is really scathing but honestly it's always jam packed and it is cheap so perhaps they've changed their prices a bit now from when this was written?

As it was Ashley's birthday and she is a massive r'n'b kind of gal we went to Mood inside of the gate, it was £4 entry which isn't too bad. Have you ever seen the video for pretty fly (for a white guy) by the Offspring? The guy in that video is the best way to describe the cliental of Mood ;). Full of cheesy rap songs like 50 cent. Oh yes. 

I had a really good time and it was really fun doing something new! I'm so bruised off the pole dancing but it was well worth it :).
