LUSH Blackberry Bath Bomb Demo

So my first LUSH review that I have written for this blog.
I've had products in the past, and honestly I've thought they were all pretty pants.
[OH.NO.SHE.DIDN'T.JUST.GO.THERE]

However, always a sucker to explore the hype around a company for myself, I decided to give this Blackberry Bath Bomb a whizz, which is £2.75 for 180g of product. I even recorded the whole thing for your viewing pleasure - don't say I don't do anything for you ;).

Prior to filming I had already added in some bath bomb to see how it settled, and as you can see the promised 'purple haze' looks very much like murky used bath water, which is not the most appealing thing to jump into! I don't really think the fizzing was anything to get too excited about either but it was cute as a novelty.

As for the smell, it was quite strong; when my sister used it I could smell it from my bedroom, and it did linger on the skin. It smells sort of fruity but in an artificial bath bomb kind of way... I have to laugh at the product description which suggests this bath bomb has a 'frisky scent'. Fear not, I managed to refrain myself from ripping off the clothes of the nearest passerby. In comparison to other brands, this is nothing special and I much prefer the Body Shop ranges (although they also don't make me frisky. Am I doing something wrong here.....?)

I steer well away from bath bombs normally because they always seem to break me out a case of the hives Something About Mary style.

This bath bomb was no different, so tread carefully if you also have sensitive skin.

I would recommend this for:
Anyone who smells, as a casual hint.....

Overall verdict:
Nice as a basic bath bomb, but nothing special.
