If you've never heard of Katie Piper, she was an upcoming presenter and model when she met her cage fighter boyfriend Danny (pretty sure that was his name) through Facebook. Everything seemed fine at first, but after a few weeks of dating warning signs started to appear, as he became increasingly controlling and obsessive. She didn't fancy sex one night as they'd both been out and she was tired, so rather than accept it like any normal human being, he subjected her to a horrific rape and beating which was so violent she said she didn't think she'd make it out alive.
Afraid to leave her apartment, he bombarded her with messages demanding they meet up,that he was really sorry and only wanted to talk to her. Katie agreed to meet him in public when only a few steps out of her street sulphuric acid was thrown directly into her face. Danny had actually convinced one of his low life mates to wait outside her apartment until she appeared. Obviously, this caused a lot of scarring and ruined her chances of presenting ever again.
She decided to speak out about her ordeal through a documentary which I spent most of the time sobbing through. I've watched it 6 times and can't help but cry, but there's a lot more to her than just surviving this ordeal which makes her so likable because she has a fab personality which is completely addicting.
From the first minute of the documentary Katie is bubbly, fun and totally charismatic. I was hooked on her personality :) she looked on the bright side of things and made jokes about situations that would otherwise be really bleak. Also I loved how glamorous she was, you never seen a hair out of place, her clothes were all fab and she had an amazing figure I'd kill for. To me, she proves that if you're beautiful on the inside and you make the most of yourself, people will be attracted to you no matter your outer appearance. Having said this, when she applied makeup for the first time as she was heading out to a party she still looked lovely.
Another reason she's such an inspiration is that she took this bad experience and made it into something extremely positive by launching the Katie Piper Foundation. Please, please check it out :).

20. When was the last time you cried?

The next item I got was from

(The main beach where I live, perfect for a nice walk with a bag of fish and chips)
I rarely use black eyeliners because I think they're way too harsh for somebody with fair features like myself, but my friend has really dark eyes so this will be perfect for her!
