Kielder

Hey guys! I thought I'd share a few snaps of Kielder - it was one of the most beautiful places I've ever been. It's a man made forest on the border of Scotland with a huge lake and this lovely little village. Me and my boyfriend decided to go camping there for something a bit different to do, it was so nice get away for a bit and pretend I was on a holiday :') haha.

Lucazade and vodka :)
The river about a metre away from the tent :)

The castle where we stopped off for some yummy cake

Hope you're all having a lovely summer! xxxx

HAUL:Summer Sun Shopping

Heyyy guys! I hope you've all had gorgeous sunny weather where you live :) - it's been beautiful where I am. I met my boyfriend in town today where we both had jacket potatoes, mine was huuuge and full of cheese savoury - yum! Worth those calories haha. After we took a stroll along the shops and I picked up these: I've seen the 'Shockwaves: Twirl it' retailing at £9, so was super pleased to find this in Poundland. Pound shops always get a bad name for being 'trampy/cheap', but if you're aware of what brands are decent then you can find some amazing bargains! This is a mousse which emphasises curls and also contains heat protection, so I'll give it a go and let you know what it's like :).

After reading Jasmine's blog http://vintagestarglam.blogspot.com/ I was inspired to buy a few rings to add to my very minor collection. I've spent a few spondoolas on some gorgeous rings from Accessorize before, but as I'm constantly washing my hands (and generally mistreating my jewellery) they tend to discolour after I've worn them once, so I gave up and stacked up on necklaces and earrings which tend to keep alot better. It's now got to the point though where I have so many necklaces, bracelets and earrings that I can't justify wasting any more money buying more until at least some of them break. Still I couldn't resist a look around one of my favourite stores for jewellery - Dorothy Perkins - especially when I noticed a '20% off everything' sign :'). I think is pretty underrated in comparison to such shops as Topshop and River Island, but I think they offer loads of variety, whereas RI and Topshop have a little selection (at least where I live) and as their so fashion forward a few seasons later jewellery can border on looking like fancy dress if they're not worn right. I fell in love with a gorgeous girly necklace instantly in DP but forced myself to move onto the ring section where I found a few gems. I first bought this silver ring (above) which looks kind of blah in the photo, but as my hands are very childlike the feminine delicate pattern is totally in proportion and looks really pretty on :).

Next I bought this bad boy for £8 which I adore. The perfect statement ring! I think this could be the start of a new love affair....
After I took a walk along the beach with my sister, dog and my boyfriends dog which was fab. The weather was so nice and the beach is the best place to relax ever. After that I met up with my boyfriend and we got a big pizza which we ate at the beach so that was really nice too :)

Hiii guys, how are you all? :)
I'm feeling great - I feel like a different person in the holidays because I can just do everything at my own pace, without a horrible feeling of guilt that I should be doing something else. I finally celebrated my birthday with my friends which was lovely - we went to a Chinese buffet called Panda, then onto a bar for cheap alcopops and a pub which sells obscure cocktails. I'm sure I'll be posting some photos of the night up on here when I get them off my friend :). I decided to get a Jelly Feel Real - very strong but so tasty! I also went to the pub with my friends the other day for a catch up, I had 11 people in total at the buffet and I didn't get to talk to everyone as much as I'd have liked, so this was a perfect time to cosy up with my besties. So much can happen in such a short amount of time, so we caught up on everything and finished the night with a cheeky visit to Mcdonalds for some chips.
Today I went into the local town next to me and spent alot on food haha. I can't believe there is 470 calories in a cheese savoury sandwich from Greggs. They're my worst vice, but omg! I felt so guilty, but hopefully as I've been working out everyday (er, okay the past 3 days but it's a start!) it will equal out haha. I also bought an adorable red-pink box file to keep all my documents in which I love, I took a photo of it (above) but it looks really horrible as my new mobile washes the colour out of everything. Talking of my mobile, a few down points! First it doesn't fit my memory card in and it has no flash, so I can't use it to capture photos anywhere more on the dingy side i.e where I spend most of my time with friends in pubs/clubs/bars etc haha. Ah well! I'm sure I'll live ;)
I'm supposed to be seeing my boyfriend tomorrow but he stupidly got drunk last night and jumped from a high wall (as you do...) and now can't get out of bed. I told him to go to the hospital but he reckons a greasy pizza will sort him out ha. If he's on the mend tomorrow we'll be having a chinese takeaway at the beach in the car (why am I even pretending I'm being healthier...?) as it's the loveliest view. I know that might sound strange to eat a full on takeaway in the car, but I really like having a lovely view whilst I eat. After we'll go for a walk (or in the case of my boyfriend a hobble) along the beach and then back to his. Aaaah the romance of it all :')
This is more of a personal post, sorry if you fell asleep half way through. Oooh btw, check out http://vintagestartglam.blogspot.com - loving her blogs, full of pretty pictures and good honest reviews etc.
