Barnsley Blog

Hello lovelies :)

I went to Barsmley (near Sheffield) at the weekend, so thought I'd write a blog on it :).

 Firstly we were dropped off the coach at Thirsk for forty five minutes. It was freezing but a lovely village full of charity shops and dogs. My Mam bought a pair of earrings and I found an unusual necklace (see here). Then we went to Barnsley Market - so expensive! Everything was the same price or more than the high street, so we rooted out the many shops instead. Mam bought me a beautiful necklace from Warren James, but I can't show photos as it's all wrapped away for my Xmas present.

I got a few gems from Primark and Select and we had a look through all the makeup. It was such a girly day and really nice spending time with her :). I was so ill though, I could barely keep up with my Mam's shopping pace haha. We settled down with a cup of tea and headed back to the bus to go to the hotel. It was at the Ramada Hotel which was really big and clean. We had a nice 3 course meal and then exploited the free internet and computer aha. They didn't serve cocktails so we went across the road to get a summery one from Toby Carvery which was really nice, but I was sooo tired I actually went to bed at like ten :').















The next day we started the day off with a huge breakfast buffet and spent 4 hours at Meadowhall which was huuuge and super packed. There were amazing shops such as M Butterfly and we tried sushi for the first time which was amazing! I really recommend National Coach Holidays for a cheap weekend getaway :).
