Hi guys, I thought I'd just quickly ask does anyone know where I can get decent makeup brushes from that aren't too pricey? I loved the Superdrug brush set which was something like £5 for tons of different brushes, and they were amazing too, but they don't make them anymore :(. I'm especially after a stippling, foundation and a blush brush. No mean feat huh? haha.

Also I just wanted to mention thanks so much for all the lovely support I'm receiving on my blog. I really want to figure out how to get notifications on new 'followers' so I can message to say thank you, but I can't get it to work :(. So in the mean time, I'll say thanks now :). Also, if you have a blog and I'm not already following you, let me know so I can check it out. Same goes with comments, some of you lovely girls leave such nice things which really makes blogging worth while. I'm really sorry if I don't reply to some of them though because I don't get notifications for these either so I have to open up each blog post to check.

Anyhoo,
Thanks in advance if anyone can help me out with brushes!
Em

  1. Hey, the ELF brushes are amazing. You can get the basic ones for £1.50 and studio ones (which are even better) for £3.50. The powder brush is great for applying brush but can be used for stippling too i hear :)

Btw, there's some thing in your settings somewhere where you can get emails whenever you get notifications and stuff (found that out the other day). Go to design > settings > comments then scroll to the bottom and enter your email :) hope that helps x

  3. Crown brushes are cheap too, although the minimum spend is £15, but with brushes starting from £2 you'll end up with quite a few! xx

  4. Thanks so much guys! The ELF brushes look amazing, are they stocked in any shops in the UK or is it just online? The Crown brushes look fab too so I'll probably try out Elf first just as it's cheaper and then if theres any I don't like I'll go for the Crown as they're still good priced :) xxx

  5. I've only ever managed to find Elf stuff online in the UK. Btw, If you get them from ELF go for the 3.50 ones. I've had a few of the 1.50 brushes and they don't last long, and some are really stiff and scrape your face. My fave brushes are from Boots. I got 2 dupes for mac brushes which I LOVE. I got dupes for the 217 and 239, both were about £7 but they'll last forever. As for face brushes, GOSH do a great stippling brush. I have one and I think it's better than MAC's and 1/3 or the price! The body shop blusher brush is my favourite blusher brush ever!! soooooo soft!! and as for foundation, I got a bobbi brown one on ebay for £5!!
I don't get notifications on comments and stuff either so thanks christina Marie! xxx
